
There is a misconception that care is only for the elderly. We offer care packages for children as well as adults. If you need support with your child’s wellbeing, we can put a plan into place, even liaising with children’s services and their school, if required.
Our person-centred approach also applies to our junior clients, allowing them to take control of the care they receive. We will listen to all viewpoints during the creation of your child’s care plan and understand the importance of family agreement. Yet, it is the child’s views that will have more weight, within reason of course!

Our Healthcare Assistants can sit with your child while they do their homework, encouraging and motivating them.
For children who do not attend traditional school, we can work alongside yourselves, children’s services, or other agencies to support their learning and development. This will be included within their care plan.
Our Healthcare Assistants will ensure the utmost hygiene and care when preparing your child’s meals. We will make food based on their dietary needs and preferences. These can then be consumed when they are wanted or required.
We can also make food up to store for later meals, allowing them that automy to choose when they want to eat.
Your child’s medication can be vital for theor recovery or maintenance. We can support you with this through reminders, or actively helping to prepare and administer prescribed medication to your child.
Please note that we can only assist with prescribed medication, where we have a copy of the prescription. We cannot assist with new medications that have yet to be uploaded onto our system, or over the counter medications.
Junior care visits from Absolute can also take on a solely social role.
Within this, your Healthcare Assistant can spend time talking with your child, encourage them to spend time outside, encourage exercise, play games, or simply be there to offer support and a listening ear.
